Hamilton Southeastern sailed to a 12-0, five-inning win Thursday at Lawrence North.
The Royals scored three runs in the first inning, then added four in both the second and third innings. Jaycee McCarter hit a grand slam in the third inning, part of a six-RBI night. McCarter also hit a double.
Madison Burlingame went 3-for-4, including a double and drove in three runs. Kaleah McCarter and Lilly Palmer both scored three runs. Kaleah McCarter pitched three innings for the win, striking out four, while Jaycee McCarter threw the other two innings, tossing five strikeouts and allowing no hits.
Southeastern is 9-3 and plays at the Whiteland Warrior Invitational on Saturday.

Carmel overcame an early deficit to beat Pendleton Heights 12-3 Wednesday at Cherry Tree Softball Complex.
The Arabians blasted a three-run home run in the top of the first inning. The Greyhounds got a run back in the bottom of the inning: Jayden Kleiner hit a one-out double and was sent home by Chloe Junkersfeld’s left field double.
Carmel took control of the game in the second inning by putting up five runs. Avery Klein led off with a triple, then Taylor Vietch was walked. Both runners scored on an Emily Proctor RBI fielder’s choice. Later, Ellie Goddard singled in Proctor and Megan Pike, then Kleiner scored on Junkersfield’s sacrifice fly. With that, the Hounds led 6-3.
Pike singled in Klein for a third-inning run, then Winni Owens batted in Goddard in the fourth inning. Carmel finished its scoring with four runs in the sixth inning: Riley Petrites drew a leadoff walk, then moved to third on Kleiner’s double. Lolah Pence came in to run for Petrites, and both she and Kleiner scored on Goddard’s single. Owens hit a center field homer, also scoring Goddard, who finished the game with four RBIs.
Chelsea Bennett pitched six innings for the win, striking out three.
Carmel is 8-6 and hosts its own Invitational, starting today.

Fishers lost to Yorktown 5-0 in a Thursday home game.
Elizabeth Hammond had two hits for the Tigers, while Cate Summerfield and Kennedy Shockley both had one hit.
Fishers is 11-4 and plays at Hamilton Southeastern Tuesday in the Mudsock game.

Sheridan dropped a Wednesday game 19-9 in five innings against Delphi at home.
Ellie Eaton, Amiyah Doss and Makenzy Terry all had three hits for the Blackhawks; Terry hit two doubles while Eaton and Doss both hit one. Eaton finished the game with four RBIs.
Sheridan is 1-6 and plays Monday at Herron.
