The Hoosier Crossroads Conference girls track & field meet took place Tuesday at Avon.
Hamilton Southeastern was edged out by Brownsburg for the team championship. The Bulldogs scored 106 points to the Royals 104, although Southeastern won five individual events.
The Royals picked up three consecutive victories midway through the meet. Southeastern’s 4×100 team of Cianna Cunningham, Chloe Senefeld, Laila Ehrgott and Kaleah McCarter won that race in 48.87 seconds.
Anissa Lammie followed that with a 400 dash win (56.96 seconds), then Senefeld was back on the track for a victory in the 300 hurdles (43.28).
Zoe Gebhart blazed to first place in the 3200 run in 10 minutes, 52.60 seconds. After that, HSE’s 4×400 relay team of Cunningham, Lammie, McCarter and Senefeld were winners in 3:57.07.
Westfield scored 81 points for third place as a team. The Shamrocks began the meet with a win in the 4×800 relay; Samantha Foster, Jordyn Landrum, Alivia Lozier and Emma Pitney clocked in at 9:24.29.
Ella Jenkins won the pole vault, clearing 11 feet, 6 inches.
Fishers’ Mia Tobias swept the throwing events, claiming the shot put with a top throw of 41 feet, 11 inches, and winning the discus with a best effort of 138 feet, 9 inches.
Noblesville’s Rylan Bell won the long jump in 17 feet, 6.75 inches, leading a 1-2 finish. Noblesville’s Ainsley Meinerding cleared 17 feet, 1 inch for second place.
