Locally Rooted. Digitally Driven. Community Focused.

Hamilton County Television (HCTV) is a digital broadcast network based in Noblesville, Indiana, dedicated to telling the stories of Hamilton County through live sports, civic coverage, and community programming. A Legacy of Sports Broadcasting

HCTV began broadcasting basketball in 2012 and quickly became a pioneer in showcasing girls' sports—at a time when few commercial outlets did. Since then, we've aired nearly 800 basketball games, covering boys and girls, JV and varsity. As the first-ever affiliate of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Champions Network, HCTV now produces semi-state and state championship broadcasts for sports like tennis, golf, basketball, and soccer.

We also support and mentor student-run networks at Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, and Hamilton Heights High Schools, helping them launch their own sports channels—all featured on HCTV.

HCTV is BEYOND Sports

HCTV is more than just a sports channel. We proudly broadcast:

  • Local Government Meetings: Noblesville City Council, Hamilton County Council, and public forums.
  • Community Events: Including the Noblesville Front Porch Music Festival, Noblesville Christmas Parade, and the Boys & Girls Club Bed Race.
  • Special Features: Weather updates from Indiana's own Paul Poteet, classic entertainment like Sinisterly Bad Theater, and local talk shows.

About Our Founder Jim Wafford

Jim Wafford is the visionary behind Hamilton County Television and a longtime entrepreneur in Noblesville. He owns Logan Street Signs & Banners, Noblesville Trophies, and the Wafford Theater, each reflecting his deep commitment to community and creativity. Jim launched HCTV in 2011 with a mission to spotlight student-athletes and local events, funding the channel entirely through his sign shop in its early years.

Known for his multitasking superpowers, Jim can often be found watching four sports games at once—while still keeping tabs on production. He's also a fan of Korean dramas, proving that his taste in entertainment is as diverse as his broadcasting portfolio. In 2023, Jim was inducted into the Hamilton County Basketball Hall of Fame, a fitting recognition for someone who's spent over a decade amplifying the voices and victories of Hamilton County.
