Riley Children’s Foundation will hold its fourth annual Red for Our Kids Gala to celebrate the lives transformed by Riley Children’s Health and to raise funds for the organization’s wraparound services.
The Gala will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at JPS Events, 211 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis. Click here for tickets.
The money raised at this year’s gala will support the $300 million Every Child Deserves Riley comprehensive campaign, the largest in the hospital’s history, which was launched at last year’s event.
The black-tie event will showcase the expertise of pediatric specialists at Riley and pediatric researchers at the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research. One of the main attractions of the event is the Experience Riley activation, giving attendees an immersive, hands-on look into Riley’s clinical care and groundbreaking research. Some unique, visual activations include adaptive equipment used at Camp Riley, a powerful tool for performing intricate, minimally invasive procedures, and an exploration of brain tumor cells.
“We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters that helps us expand services, advance lifesaving care, and ensure every child across Indiana has access to Riley resources,” Riley Children’s Foundation President and CEO Courtney Roberts said. “This year’s Red for Our Kids Gala will shine a light on our nationally-renowned talent and celebrate the countless patients who get to be kids again thanks to Riley Children’s Health.”
The $300 million comprehensive campaign aims to raise funds to support Riley’s five priority pillars, identified to ensure full wraparound services for all children and their families in Indiana. The priority pillars include:
- Respond to the youth mental health crisis
- Bring the best and brightest to Indiana
- Pioneer research advancements
- Expand access to Riley expertise
- Support the entire family
Every dollar raised will be entrusted to the brilliant team of caregivers, scientists and others affiliated with Riley in 18 communities across the state – and will make a lasting impact on children’s health and on the lives of individual kids and families.
