Hamilton Southeastern Schools will hold a parent-focused presentation on internet and social media safety as part of its ongoing commitment to student well-being.
“Protecting Kids in the Digital Age: Internet & Social Media Safety” will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 in the Leonard Auditorium at Hamilton Southeastern High School. Enter through Door 18.
This even is open to any adults, not only HSE parents and families.
Tiffany Preston, a former Assistant United States Attorney with nearly 17 years of experience investigating internet crimes against children, will share practical guidance for families on device safety, recognizing warning signs of unsafe online interactions, and understanding risks associated with popular apps and games.
The event is intended for adults only due to the sensitive nature of the content. Members of the district’s crisis response team will be present to provide support.
