Winter Reading Program
Main Library & Windfall Branch
Feb. 1 to 28
Bundle up and dive into a great book this winter. The Tipton County Public Library’s Winter Reading Program returns with “Snow is Falling, Books are Calling!”
Open to all ages – children, teens, and adults – this beloved program offers more than just reading rewards. Participants can earn prizes for their reading achievements and join in the fun by searching for a hidden animal on the library shelves to claim a special treat.
Whether you’re looking to escape the cold with an adventure story or warm up with a cozy mystery, there’s something for everyone. Visit the Main Library or Windfall Branch to sign up and get complete program details.
Free tax preparation
The Tipton County Public Library is partnering with the United Way of Howard and Tipton Counties to offer free tax preparation assistance to eligible community members.
Tax preparation packets will be available at the library’s front desk throughout February and March. Simply pick up a packet, complete it, and return it to the Tipton Library. A United Way representative will then contact you to schedule a review appointment at the library.
This service is designed to help qualifying residents navigate their tax preparation with expert assistance at no cost. For more information, visit the Tipton County Public Library or call during regular business hours at (765) 675-0212.
