Sheridan High School’s (SHS) girls and boys basketball programs recently teamed up with the Logan Gellert Foundation for the 2nd annual LG30 Game.
The LG30 Game was created to honor Logan Gellert and to support the Foundation, which funds AirPods for teens undergoing cancer treatment. This gift helps teens feel connected, comforted, and supported during their treatment.
This year’s event is expected to raise close to $5,000 for the foundation, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the Foundation. This is due to the overwhelming support from Sheridan’s community and the generosity of the amazing T-shirt sponsors.
This fundraiser is especially meaningful for the SHS girls basketball program, as the players take full ownership of the event and manage every step of the process. They pass out order forms, collect money to sell the shirts, and even make every T-shirt themselves.
“This fundraiser means a lot to our program,” Girls Basketball Head Coach Jaidlin Bradshaw said. “Our girls take ownership of everything, and that accountability is really special. Logan would have been a junior this year, so this night truly hits home.”
Sheridan Community Schools and the SHS basketball programs are incredibly grateful to everyone who made the night so impactful.
“We look forward to continuing to grow the LG30 Game each season and keeping Logan’s legacy alive,” Bradshaw said.
