Two outstanding members of the Hamilton Heights High School Band, Kaylee Roberts (Euphonium) and Kiera Rhinas (String Bass), recently represented Hamilton Heights with excellence at the Indiana Music Education Association (IMEA) Honor Band. Their selection followed a highly competitive audition process that recognizes some of the most accomplished high school musicians in the state.
The IMEA Honor Band brings together top performers from across Indiana for an intensive weekend of rehearsals, sectionals, and collaboration, culminating in a showcase concert led by esteemed guest conductors. Participation in this ensemble is considered one of the highest honors for student musicians in Indiana.
Their dedication, musicianship, and commitment to their craft were evident throughout the event. Their achievement reflects not only their personal hard work, but also the strength of Hamilton Heights’ music program and the support of the directors who help students grow as artists and leaders.
Congratulations to Roberts and Rhinas on this exceptional accomplishment. Hamilton Heights celebrates the pride they bring to their school, their program, and the entire Huskies community.
