Hamilton Heights girls’ lost a close home game to Huntington North 62-59 on Tuesday.
The two teams played to a 13-13 tie after the first quarter. The Vikings edged ahead 28-27 by halftime, but the Huskies came back and took a 45-43 lead after three quarters. But Huntington North scored 19 points in the fourth to get the win.
Zoey Curry scored 24 points to lead Heights, followed by Riley Suarez with 13 points and Addison Blum with 11 points. Blum, Kamryn Rhoton and Curry all pulled four rebounds. Stella Taylor dished out eight assists and Blum handed out four.
The Huskies are 14-5 and host Rensselaer Central on Friday in the Hoosier Conference championship game.
