Guerin Catholic returned home to The Nest on Saturday, Jan. 17 and cruised past Bishop Dwenger 75-45 to win the Golden Eagles’ Senior Night game.
It was all Guerin Catholic from the start, as the Golden Eagles led 20-9 after one quarter. GC led the Saints 39-20 at halftime and 58-29 after three periods.
Four players reached double-digit scoring for Guerin Catholic, led by Jake Grissom’s 16 points. Carter Murans contributed 13 points, while Luke Keller and Jack Linden both scored 10 points. Will Bach had a solid all-around game with nine rebounds, eight points and five assists. Keller also collected five rebounds.
The Golden Eagles are 10-5 and travel to Brebeuf Jesuit on Friday for a Circle City Conference girls-boys doubleheader.
