FanDuel Sports Network play-by-play announcer Chris Denari has been announced as the 2025 Indiana Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association (NSMA).
Denari is in his 20th season as the television voice of the Indiana Pacers. It is the second time Denari will has received the honor as he also earned the award in 2022.
“I’m flattered and honored to be the National Sports Media Association’s 2025 Indiana Sportscaster of the Year,” said Denari, a native of Westfield. “There are many outstanding sports broadcasters in our state. I feel incredibly lucky to be the television play-by-play announcer for the Indiana Pacers on FanDuel Sports Network. I couldn’t do what I do without my on-air partners and the great crew behind the scenes that make our telecasts possible.”
In addition to the two Sportscaster of the Year awards, Denari was named the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association 2003 Broadcaster of the Year and was inducted into the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in 2016.
Denari will be honored at the NSMA 66th annual awards weekend and national convention June 28-29 in Greensboro, N.C.
