Noblesville’s girls placed third at the Huntington North Classic on Saturday, Jan. 3.
The Millers fell to Fort Wayne Northrop in their first game 70-48. Briley Morelli, playing her first game for Noblesville, scored 15 points, while Ally Hutchinson added 12 points. Maia Blower dished out six assists.
The Millers came back in the third-place game and beat host Huntington North 54-51. Noblesville trailed 24-23 at halftime, but the Millers moved ahead of the Vikings after three quarters, 38-37, then added another 16 points in the fourth.
Hutchinson dominated the game with 29 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Blower scored nine points and handed out five assists. Aleah Magee contributed eight points and eight rebounds.
Noblesville is 7-6 and plays at Cathedral on Wednesday.
