As the year comes to a close, The Salvation Army Indiana Division is encouraging residents to give generously so that neighbors in need can receive support not just during the holidays but throughout the entire year.
Gifts made this season will help The Salvation Army continue providing essential services, including food assistance, shelter, rent and utility support, and rehabilitation, year-round.
This year, the need is great. In fact, 67 percent of U.S. workers reported living paycheck to paycheck, up from 63 percent last year. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a real difference. In 2024, The Salvation Army Indiana Division provided almost 2.6 million meals to Hoosiers facing food insecurity and 106,310 nights of safe shelter to those struggling to maintain safe and stable housing.

That’s where The Salvation Army can step in and help. This is our mission 365 days a year, to help those who are in the greatest need get through their toughest challenges.
