Update No. 163
The Hamilton County Health Department is conducting a brief and confidential survey to better understand what local families know – and how they feel – about vaccines for children from birth to age two. The insights gathered will help shape an educational campaign launching in the new year.
We’re asking for your help. As valued partners in supporting the health and well‑being of Hamilton County’s youngest residents, we would appreciate your assistance in sharing this survey with young families, especially new and expectant parents.
The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and is open through this Friday, Dec. 19 at 11:59 p.m.

If you are out and about, be sure to stop by Dark Side Coffee House in Cicero and check out the charming surprise in the back hallway: the Tiny Art Gallery, a creative partnership led by HHHS art teacher Carrie VanAlstine. Inside it sits an even smaller delight – the Teeny Tiny Art Gallery, a fully furnished miniature space featuring original student artwork, from 2D drawings and paintings to intricate mini sculptures.
This rotating exhibit offers a fun, unexpected way to experience Hamilton Heights student creativity up close. The current display is open through Jan. 15, so stop in over the break, grab a coffee, and enjoy this unique celebration of student talent.

This semester has been filled with remarkable achievements, both in and out of the classroom. From academic growth to artistic performances, athletic accomplishments to acts of service, our students continue to inspire us with their creativity, resilience, and determination.
Their success is made possible by the commitment of our teachers, staff, and families, who give their time, energy, and care to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. Thank you for the countless ways you lift our students and one another.

The holiday season gives us the chance to pause and recharge. I encourage you to take these days to enjoy traditions, create new memories, and spend time with loved ones. On behalf of our Board of Education and leadership team, thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
It is an honor to serve Hamilton Heights, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
As the year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many reasons we have to be grateful. Each day, I see the dedication of our teachers and staff, the curiosity and determination of our students, and the steadfast support of our families and community partners. Together, we make Hamilton Heights a place where learning, growth, and connection thrive.
May the spirit of the season fill your hearts with joy, warmth, and wonder. Wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas and a bright, hopeful New Year. See you back on campus on Jan. 5, 2026!
