Guerin Catholic’s girls got off a strong start at Perry Meridian on Wednesday and that carried the Golden Eagles to a 49-30 victory.
Guerin Catholic led 19-4 after the first quarter, with Cecilia Titus making a pair of 3-pointers. The Golden Eagles led 23-11 at halftime and 35-22 after three periods. Lauren Keller scored eight points in the fourth quarter, where GC outscored the Falcons 14-8.
Titus led the Golden Eagles with 14 points. Keller had 11 points.
Guerin Catholic is 6-4 and hosts Lafayette Central Catholic on Friday, the first game of a girls/boys doubleheader.
