Carmel dropped a close game to Fort Wayne Snider 52-49 Saturday, Dec. 13 on Bill Shepherd Court at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Panthers jumped out a 19-8 lead after the first quarter. The Greyhounds slowly chipped away at the lead over the next three periods, cutting it to 29-21 at halftime and 43-36 after three periods. Sydney Bonds helped out with nine second-half points.
Bonds finished as the leading scorer with 16 points, including a 12-of-14 effort from the free-throw line. Maddy Wallace scored 10 points.
Carmel is 6-4 and plays Friday at North Central.
