Hamilton Southeastern’s boys dropped a tough game at Brebeuf Jesuit 59-56 on Friday, Dec. 12.
The Royals led 15-7 early in the first quarter and held a 30-24 advantage at halftime. But the Braves came back in the second half, pouring in 22 third-period points to cut Southeastern’s lead to 48-46. Brebeuf outscored the Royals 13-8 in the fourth quarter to get the win.
Landon Osswald led Southeastern with 15 points, while Maverick Young totaled 13 points. Luke Weemer scored 10 points and collected nine rebounds. Varschon Clark and Osswald both pulled five rebounds, while Jack Jacobs handed out six assists.
The Royals are 2-2 and play Fishers Friday in the Mudsock game at Fishers Events Center.
