Noblesville Main Street (NMS) announces the appointment of Joshua Mason as its next executive director, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Mason brings over two decades of experience spanning marketing, community engagement, event development, and data-driven brand strategy across professional sports, corporate, nonprofit, and civic-focused organizations.
Mason’s career includes leadership roles with Indy Eleven, Pumpjack Dataworks, Enthuse Marketing, and Starbucks Coffee, as well as extensive volunteer and advisory experience throughout central Indiana. His track record of building experiential programs, engaging diverse community stakeholders, and elevating organizational visibility made him the top choice following a comprehensive regional search.
“In accepting this role, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be of service to others,” Mason said. “I look forward to elevating expectations of what is possible for this organization in support of the businesses, citizens, and stakeholders of our city – while having fun along the way. My goal is to help build a vision we can all be proud of and, through our collective achievements, make daily life in Noblesville just a little better every single day. I’m excited to get started.”
Outgoing Executive Director Kate Baker led the search process, and she expressed full confidence in the leadership transition.
“It has been my honor to serve this organization, and passing the reins to someone with Josh’s passion and vision gives me immense optimism for the future of downtown Noblesville,” Baker said. “Josh brings an incredible blend of creativity, operational strength, relationship-building, and genuine heart for community. His experience uniquely positions him to lead Noblesville Main Street into its next chapter.”
Incoming Board President Bill Russo noted the Board’s enthusiasm for Mason’s appointment.
“Josh has the energy, strategic mindset, and community-forward approach that aligns perfectly with where Noblesville Main Street is headed,” Russo said. “The Board is confident that his leadership will further strengthen our partnerships, accelerate our momentum, and help us continue delivering meaningful impact for our merchants, residents, and visitors.”
As executive director, Mason will oversee NMS programs, events, business support initiatives, volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and the organization’s continued Main Street America accreditation efforts. He will work closely with the Board of Directors, city leadership, local businesses, and a dedicated network of volunteers to advance NMS’s mission of activating and enriching downtown Noblesville.
