Visitors to Dark Side Coffee House, 110 W. Jackson St., Cicero, can now enjoy a delightful surprise tucked away in the back hallway: the Tiny Art Gallery, a creative community partnership led by Hamilton Heights High School art teacher Carrie VanAlstine.
Inside the Tiny Art Gallery sits an even more whimsical feature: The Teeny Tiny Art Gallery, a fully furnished dollhouse‑sized gallery showcasing original artwork by high school students.
The second floor of the miniature gallery features student 2D drawings and paintings, while the third floor highlights an impressive collection of student‑made mini sculptures. This rotating exhibit offers the community a unique way to experience student creativity up close – and in a truly unexpected scale.
The current student displays will be available for viewing through Jan. 15. Stop by, grab a coffee, and enjoy this charming celebration of student talent.
