Hamilton Heights dropped a 60-52 road game to Lapel on Tuesday.
The Class 2A No. 7 Bulldogs led 14-11 after one quarter and 34-23 at halftime. The Huskies played even with Lapel in the second half, but the Bulldogs were able to maintain their lead.
Freshman Riley Suarez had another solid game, scoring 28 points, making four 3-pointers along the way. Suarez also pulled eight rebounds and blocked two shots. Addison Blum scored 10 points and Bayleigh Eisele dished out four assists.
Heights is 2-2 and hosts 3A No. 10 Bishop Chatard on Thursday.
