The Heroes Club, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has generously donated $7,500 to the Carmel Police Department to support its drone program. This contribution will help enhance the department’s ability to utilize drone technology for public safety, emergency response, and community protection.
The Heroes Club is dedicated to supporting first responders who serve Carmel. The organization provides a no-cost insurance policy for accidental line-of-duty deaths to members of the Carmel Police and Fire departments, as well as Indiana State Police officers and Hamilton County Sherriff’s Deputies serving within Clay Township.
In addition to offering this vital insurance coverage, The Heroes Club extends its support through mental health resources, and specialized training and equipment grants. These efforts ensure that local first responders have the tools, training, and emotional support they need to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Through initiatives like this donation, The Heroes Club continues to honor and empower the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting others in the Carmel community.
