Cyntheanne Christian Church will once again open its doors for its annual Veterans & Athletes United (VAU) Auction on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 13158 Cyntheanne Road, Fishers. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the auction begins at 10:30 a.m.
Since 2016, this event has brought the community together to support VAU, a non-profit, all-volunteer, veteran-founded 501(c)(3) organization. Over the years, Cyntheanne’s auction has raised more than $76,000 to help fund VAU’s mission.
VAU provides life-changing programs that empower veterans with disabilities from all generations and works to honor fallen heroes from the War on Terror. In 2018, VAU completed its first Fallen Heroes Memorial, a moving display made up of over 7,000 dog tags engraved with the names of those who have given their lives in service since 9/11. There are now two VAU Fallen Heroes Memorials traveling across the country, honoring our nation’s heroes and offering comfort to Gold Star families who continue to grieve their loved ones.
Cyntheanne Christian Church has been honored to host this traveling memorial twice since 2024, giving our community a place to reflect, remember, and give thanks.

This year’s auction promises something for everyone. Items up for bid include handcrafted wood pieces, garden supplies, gift baskets, gift cards, and more. There will also be a cash-and-carry area featuring homemade candies, cookies, jewelry, and unique gift items – perfect for early holiday shopping. A free lunch will be served, and all are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day of fellowship, laughter, and generosity.
“I personally love this day,” Jo Neff said. “Our church and community come together for one purpose: to help Veterans. It’s heartwarming to see everyone share their time, talent, and resources to make a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
At Cyntheanne Christian Church, service and compassion are at the heart of our ministry. Through mission work, community outreach, and events like this one, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ – spreading love, kindness, and hope to others.
