On Wednesday, Oct. 8, the Noblesville Lions welcomed Noblesville High School principal Dr. Janae Mobley as our guest speaker. She has been the NHS principal since July and was previously an assistant principal and dean.
Dr. Mobley shared that 3,300 students and 200 teachers and staff make NHS the 12th-largest high school in Indiana. She highlighted NHS’ 98 percent graduation rate, national recognition of STEM and music education programs, and over $5 million earned in scholarships by graduating seniors.
She provided an overview of the recent expansion that now includes in-house programs in welding, construction trades, textiles, hospitality management, and exercise science. She welcomed members to come visit the high school to see all the exciting activities happening in our high school.
She and Communications Director Marnie Cooke also invited Lions to attend the superintendent’s State of the Schools address at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 at NHS.
