Carmel’s Diwali Festival will now be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at 10 Carter Green. Originally scheduled for this past Saturday, Oct. 18, it was canceled due to inclement weather.
The festival has been rescheduled for the safety and comfort of all attendees, performers and vendors.
All planned activities, including cultural performances, food vendors and the Palladiscope display, are expected to proceed on the new date.
Event organizers appreciate the community’s understanding in prioritizing the safety and well-being of attendees, and they thank the various Carmel City teams for their diligence in making this necessary decision.
