The Noblesville Fire Department recognizes Division Chief Todd Estes and Lieutenant Dan Milligan for their recent accomplishments in the field of fire investigation.
Both Chief Estes and Lt. Milligan have earned the Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI) credential through the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). In addition, Lt. Milligan successfully tested for and achieved his Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) credential this week. Chief Estes previously earned his CFEI in December 2024.
Both Chief Estes and Lt. Milligan also hold their Fire Investigator Technician (FIT) credential through the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), with Chief Estes additionally earning his IAAI Vehicle Fire Endorsement.
Fire investigation is a precise and demanding discipline where professional certifications represent more than accolades – they are vital indicators of an investigator’s expertise and commitment to excellence.
