Fishers Arts Council has an open call for visual art by Veterans, Reserves, and Active Service Members. The upcoming November exhibit “Duty, Honor, Creativity” showcases art by individuals who have served our country.
The exhibit will showcase 2D visual art that is family-friendly and does not have to be military in nature. All works must be original to the artist. 2D works in any medium must be prepped with a wire for hanging, weigh no more than 30 pounds, and not exceed more than 60 inches in any direction. Additional details regarding exhibit requirements can be found at FishersArtsCouncil.org/blog.
The deadline to submit work is Oct. 17, and artists will be notified of their acceptance by or before Oct. 24. Artwork drop-off will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 1, though additional times may be available if artists contact Fishers Arts Council in advance.
The exhibit will be on display in the Art Gallery at City Hall, Fishers, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Nov. 3 to 26, excluding holidays. Questions or requests for assistance can be sent to info@fishersartscouncil.org or you can reach out via phone or text at (317) 537-1670.
