Hamilton Southeastern scored three touchdowns in the first quarter and rode the momentum to a 31-6 win over Noblesville Friday, Oct. 3 in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game at the Royals’ field.
Drake Satterfield brought in a 16-yard reception from Deaken Johnson for the first TD. Minutes later, Johnson tossed a 55-yard pass to Graham Toner, who took that one to the end zone. Carter Reed finished the period with a 28-yard touchdown run. Luke Marchionni kicked all three extra points.
Marchionni added a 33-yard field goal midway through the second quarter. Tayshaun Sanders scored Southeastern’s fourth touchdown of the game, running the ball in from two yards. Marchionni made the extra-point kick, his fourth of the night.
The Millers scored their touchdown at the beginning of the fourth quarter; Windsor Hutchins connected with Alfred Allwine for an eight-yard pass.
Johnson had a solid game, completing 15 of 26 attempts for 266 yards. Toner made four of those catches for 108 yards.
The Royals are 2-3 in conference play and 4-3 overall, and host Franklin Central this Friday. Noblesville is 0-5 in the conference and 1-6 overall and hosts Brownsburg this Friday.
