Reese Resmer is powering Noblesville volleyball this season.
She leads the team in kills, blocks, and hit percentage. The senior middle blocker is a Kansas State commit.
Resmer is using her remaining time with the Millers to grow and challenge herself to prepare for the next level.
Resmer missed all of last season with a shoulder injury, and does not take her time on the court for granted.
“I was super sad to miss last season and thankfully I still got to be with them on the sidelines last year and it just gave me a new appreciation for the sport and I realized how much I missed not being a part of Miller volleyball,” Resmer said. “A lot of the senior group I’ve been with for a long time, since middle school, and I think I just really wanted to get back to that and be with the senior group.”
One of the things that Resmer is most proud of is her growth as a leader, and that has not gone unnoticed by her head coach.
“It’s been really cool to see Reese as a leader since she was a freshman, all the way up to her senior year this year,” Noblesville volleyball head coach Annie Poulson said. “I think that is her biggest area that she’s improved in is she is not just a key contributor, but she’s a massive leader on this team. They count on her.”
