Since 1986, the Westfield Education Foundation (WEF) has served Westfield Washington Schools, and Grant Day remains one of WEF’s traditions each year.
On Monday, Sept. 22, the WEF team surprised educators across the district with 53 grants totaling $46,782.50. These projects will bring new opportunities in wellness, literacy, STEM, innovation, the arts, math, social studies, and science, directly enriching the learning experience for Westfield students.
If that wasn’t enough fun, on Tuesday, Sept. 23, Craig Woods Farm stepped in to award an additional $2,000 to help create an accessible garden at the new Shamrock Station.
WEF is deeply grateful to these 2025-2026 Grant Community Partners, whose generosity makes this possible: Community First Bank of Indiana, CORE Construction, Schmidt Associates, Meyer Najem, Performance Services, krM Architecture, CSO Architects, Ann K. Gotwald Fund for STEM Education, Kroger Gardis and Regas, LLP, Westfield Lions Club, WestMed, and KRG.
Westfield’s students, staff, and community are truly making an impact, growing opportunities and supporting every Shamrock on their journey to being Life Ready.
