The Sheridan volleyball team swept Elwood Monday, 25-13, 25-11, 25-20.
Lainey Mendenhall led the offense with 16 kills, followed by Amiyah Doss and Beth Adams with five kills each and Emily Will with four. Adria Jump had 16 service points and served five aces, Adams collected 10 service points and hit three aces, while Eva Todd served four aces. Jump dished out 26 assists.
Meredith Krupp led the defense with 16 digs, followed by Jump with 11, Mendenhall with six and Todd with five. Mendenhall also made one solo block and one block assist, and Jump had one solo block.
The Blackhawks are 13-5 and host Lapel on Thursday.

Westfield picked up a Monday sweep of Mt. Vernon, 27-25, 25-15, 25-21.
Georgia Bresnahan hit 15 kills for the Shamrocks. Kendyl Strack served five aces, while Emily Blevins dished out 25 assists and Kenna Robinson handed out 11 assists.
Strack collected 13 digs to lead the defense, followed by Brooke Neale with 12, Bresnahan with 11 and Blevins with 10. Carsyn Comer made four blocks and Audrey Davis had three blocks.
Westfield is 16-1 and plays a Hoosier Crossroads Conference match at Brownsburg tonight.

Fishers was swept by Franklin Central Monday, 25-19, 25-22, 25-12 in an HCC away match.
The Tigers are 11-10 and play another conference match Thursday at Avon.
