The Jewish Community Relations Council-produced film Sweet Lorraine in Auschwitz will make its world premiere next month at the 34th Heartland International Film Festival.
This feature-length documentary tells the extraordinary story of Holocaust survivor Frank (Miša) Grunwald, who endured five concentration camps and death marches as a child. Through his own testimony, powerful archival materials, and the music that sustained him, the film carries forward a legacy of resilience, memory, and hope.
The world premiere is set for Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Tobias Theater at Newfields, 4000 Michigan Road, Indianapolis.
Encore screenings will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 19 at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 3898 Lafayette Road, Indianapolis.
