The Guerin Catholic boys soccer team clinched the Circle City Conference championship in dramatic fashion Tuesday night.
The Class 2A No. 3 Golden Eagles edged out Roncalli in a penalty-kick shootout 4-3 in their final conference game of the season. Guerin Catholic thus finished with a perfect 3-0 record in the conference and won the CCC title for the fifth time.

Will Scheu, Connor Klen, Christian Zermeno and Cooper Prather all successfully made their penalty-kick tries. Golden Eagles goalkeeper Ryan McGrath made one save, while a Roncalli PK hit the crossbar.
The Golden Eagles are 8-3 overall. Guerin Catholic is back in action Thursday, when it travels to Harrison for a date with the 3A No. 1 Raiders.

Westfield won a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game over 3A No. 6 Noblesville 2-0 on Tuesday.
Matt Millikan scored both goals for the Shamrocks, who are 2-2 in conference play and 3-4-1 overall. Westfield’s next game is Saturday morning against Pendleton Heights.
The Millers are 1-2-1 in the conference and 5-3-1 overall. They host Southport Thursday.

Fishers, ranked No. 4 in 3A, and 3A No. 11 Hamilton Southeastern played to a 0-0 tie Thursday in the Mudsock game, which took place at the Royals’ field.
The Tigers are 3-0-2 in HCC play and 6-1-2 overall, while Southeastern is 1-1-2 in the conference and 5-2-3 overall. Fishers plays Thursday at Pendleton Heights, while the Royals host Oak Hill Saturday morning.

Carmel tied with Lawrence North 1-1 in a Tuesday game at Brian Murray Stadium.
The 3A No. 2 Greyhounds are 6-0-1 and host 3A No. 18 Columbus North on Friday.

University dropped a 7-3 game to 2A No. 6 Bishop Chatard on Tuesday.
The Trailblazers are 3-4-1 and play a Pioneer Conference game Thursday at Anderson Prep Academy.

Hamilton Heights fell to Tipton 5-3 Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the Hoosier Conference tournament.
The Huskies are 4-4 and play a consolation game later this week.
