Hamilton Heights pulls all stops to honor Sonny Beck as first of ‘Distinguished Alumni’

Lawrence “Sonny” Beck was honored as Hamilton Heights’ inaugural entry into the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame during a ceremony and dinner last Friday, Jan. 30 at the high school. A 1958 graduate of Jackson Central High School and CEO of Beck’s Hybrids, Beck has spent his life cultivating leadership, innovation, and service that has shaped the agriculture and education of the Hamilton Heights community.
