Westfield Fire Department announces the following promotions to meet the needs of the growing community and department. After a competitive process, the following personnel have earned their merit promotions, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
(FROM LEFT) Fire Fighter Justin Austad has been promoted to Lieutenant on Engine 382, A-Shift. Fire Fighter Kevin Brock has been promoted to Lieutenant on Engine 383, B-Shift. Lt. Danny Summers has been promoted to Captain, Shift Training Officer (STO), B-Shift. Lt. Jason Cree has been promoted to Captain, Battalion Chief Aid, A-Shift. Fire Fighter Mason Schroeder has been promoted to Engineer on Ladder 384, A-Shift.
