The Fishers Tigers’ dominance of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference resumed on Friday, Jan. 16 inside The Jungle.
The top-ranked Class 4A Tigers jumped out fast against visiting Brownsburg 25-14 after the first quarter and led 39-24 by halftime en route to a decisive 72-53 victory.
The contest marked Fishers’ first HCC contest since Dec. 19 with three more ahead over the next five weeks. The unbeaten Tigers are now 14-0 on the season and 3-0 in the conference.
Senior Kai McGrew led the Tigers with a game-high 17 points against Brownsburg. Senior Ethan Hillsman followed with 15 points, and junior Levi Walker added nine points.
The trio of junior Cooper Zachary, freshman Tristan Breland and senior Jean-Claude L’Homme each contributed eight points apiece.
The Tigers travel to Avon on Friday, Jan. 23 for their next HCC game before heading to Franklin Central on Jan. 30 later this month with Zionsville (3-0 HCC) marking their final conference game on Feb. 20. Fishers also hosts HCC foe Westfield on Feb. 5.
