The Noblesville gymnastics team is off to a solid start this season, with successful results in its first three competitions.
The Millers began their season Jan. 10 at the Logansport Pairs, where they scored a team total of 91.95. Two gymnasts teamed up in each event for a combined all-around score.
The duo of Hailey Nobbe and Valorey Bittles placed second with a combined score of 34.65. Bittles totaled a 9.20 on the vault and a 9.15 on the floor exercise, with Nobbe scoring 8.15 on both the uneven bars and balance beam.
Vera Deichman and Emmerson Leckrone finished sixth with an all-around mark of 30.70. Deichman scored 8.30 on the floor and 8.00 on beam, while Leckrone scored 8.10 on vault and 6.30 on bars.
Phoenix Rollins and Lilly Martin combined for a 26.60 all-around score. Martin totaled 7.10 on beam and 6.95 on floor, with Rollins scoring 7.80 on vault and 4.75 on bars.
Shelby Sacerich and Lynae Pass finished with a score of 23.15. Pass scored 5.85 on floor and 5.65 on beam, while Sacerich scored 7.60 on vault and 4.05 on bars.
Back to Logansport
Noblesville traveled back to Logansport on Jan. 14 for a dual meet with the Berries. The Millers won the meet, scoring 100.425 to Logansport’s 86.50.
Nobbe was the all-around champion with a score of 34.65. She also placed first in the bars (8.35) and floor (8.725) events. Bittles finished second in the all-around with 34.20 and won the vault (9.125) and beam (9.025) events.
Bittles finished second in the bars (7.525) and floor (8.525), with Nobbe placing second in the vault (9.00) and beam (8.575).

Shelby Sacerich won the JV competition with an all-around score of 20.85. Martin was first in the JV vault with 7.70, followed by Sacerich with 7.65.
Third at Franklin Central
Noblesville competed at the Franklin Central Invitational on Jan. 17, finishing third out of nine teams with a score of 101.325.
Nobbe placed fourth on the beam, scoring 9.025. Bittles was fifth on the vault, totaling 9.05.
