INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum announced Thursday that the board has unanimously selected Michael Good as the new president of the museum.
Good will officially start his duties in February.
Good said a statement in a release, “Living in Indianapolis for more that 40 years has given me a deep appreciation for what the Indianapolis Motor Speedway represents to this city and to motorsports worldwide.”
Chuck Jones, director of the board, said in a statement in the release “Michael is a results-driven leader with a proven ability to strengthen organizations, expand revenue, and execute at a high level.”
As president, Good will oversee growth and daily operations. The museum reopened in April following a major renovation, and Good will also spearhead the next phase of the museum’s new campaign, which involves new restoration and a new construction on an event space.
Good, his wife, Heather, and their family live in Westfield.
