Eyler
Danica Eyler has officially filed to run for Judge of Hamilton County Superior Court 8 in the May 5, 2026, Republican Primary.
Superior Court 8 is a newly created court established by the Indiana General Assembly to expand judicial capacity and improve access to courts in one of Indiana’s fastest-growing counties.
Eyler currently serves as a Magistrate Judge, bringing daily courtroom experience and a deep understanding of the judicial system to the race. Prior to her appointment, she practiced law for more than 20 years in a wide range of legal areas and spent seven years focused on cases in Hamilton County, regularly appearing in local courts as both private counsel and a public defender.
“For years, I worked in our courts advocating for clients and exhibiting professionalism between my colleagues and the Courts,” Eyler said. “Now, as a Magistrate Judge, I am committed to fairness, preparedness, and efficiency, ensuring every individual who comes before the court is treated with respect and impartiality.”
Hamilton County has been home to Eyler for nearly all of her adult life, further, Eyler is a graduate of Lawrence Central High School and earned degrees from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and the IU McKinney School of Law. She and her husband live in Westfield, where they are raising their family and where her husband also headquarters his business.
Danica Eyler will appear on the ballot in the Republican Primary Election on May 5.
