Update: The Fishers Police Department released this statement Monday morning, Jan. 19, regarding the case of Hailey Buzbee, 17, who has been missing since Jan. 5.
“Hailey Buzbee is considered an endangered missing juvenile. This is still a very active investigation, involving FPD and law enforcement partners working around the clock to investigate every tip. FPD will send updates on the investigation as the investigation allows. What we need from the public is to continue to contact law enforcement with any pertinent information.” – Major Ryan Jones, Fishers Police Department
Buzbee, a junior at Hamilton Southeastern High School, is 5-foot-3 and has brown eyes and brown hair.
According to Fishers PD, Buzbee is believed to have run away from her home in the Enclave at Vermillion Neighborhood. That’s along 101st Street near Flat Fork Creek Park. She left their home on Jan. 5 around 10 p.m.
She was last seen wearing a white blouse, grey jeans, a black puffer jacket, and carrying a pink Vera Bradley duffel bag.
