Fishers Arts Council has calls for art for exhibits in the Art Gallery at City Hall for February, March, and April 2026.
Calls for art are open to individuals in central Indiana and surrounding areas, ages 16 and older, who meet the requirements of the exhibit theme. Callout details and submission links for each exhibit can be found at FishersArtsCouncil.org/blog.

Embracing Black Culture
Eighth-grade students from Fall Creek Junior High will create art based on W.E.B. Du Bois’ concept of Double Consciousness, inspired by the artistic style of Everlyn Nicodemus. Their work will display alongside community artists who can either follow the students’ prompt or offer artwork the artist feels embraces black culture. The deadline has been extended to Jan. 20.

Disability Awareness
Since 2017, Fishers Arts Council has partnered with the Fishers Advisory Committee on Disability for the annual exhibit. The exhibit is open to artists who identify as having a disability. Both visual and performing artists are encouraged to submit work, as well as organizations who support individuals with disabilities. Performing artists will have the opportunity to perform at the Second Friday reception on March 13. Deadline to apply is Feb. 16.

Spring Blooms with Poetry – Tiny Art
This new exhibit focuses on 2D and 3D works that are no larger than 8-by-8-by-8 inches along with poetry. Fishers Arts Council will print and frame accepted poems. Visual art and poetry submissions are encouraged to focus on the joy of art, nature, poetry, and beauty – but can be on any topic that is appropriate for all ages. Deadline to apply is March 16.

Musicians are also needed for the 2026 Season of Art, which offers paid performance opportunities for solo, duet, and trios in the Fishers Arts Council gallery spaces as well as those of their Gallery Hop partners.
