Carmel’s girls fell to Pike 70-65 in an overtime away game Friday, Jan. 23.
The Red Devils led 13-10 after the first quarter and 31-28 at halftime. The Greyhounds stormed back in the third period to take a 43-37 lead, but Pike made its own comeback, scoring 24 points in the fourth to tie the game at 61-61 and force overtime. The Red Devils outscored Carmel 9-4 in the extra period.
Bella Ramsey scored 30 points for the Hounds, making four 3-pointers. Taylee Fisher added 17 points; both players scored in all four quarters.
Carmel lost to Homestead 67-27 on Saturday, Jan. 24.
The Greyhounds are 8-12 for the season. Carmel’s Tuesday game with Cathedral was postponed to Wednesday due to the winter storm.
