Carmel’s girls dropped a road game at Lawrence North 54-40 on Tuesday.
The Wildcats led 14-9 after the first quarter. The Greyhounds stayed with LN in the second quarter, cutting the lead to 26-23 by halftime. Both teams scored six points in the third period, but the Wildcats pulled away in the fourth, outscoring Carmel 22-12.
Bella Ramsey led the Hounds with nine points.
Carmel is 6-2 and plays at Westfield next Tuesday, Dec. 9.
