When kids need Christmas, local police answer the call

The annual Shop for Kids was held on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Harbour Shores Church, 8011 E. 216^th St., Cicero. Police officers from multiple departments welcomed 55 at-risk children to a party and then spent the morning at the Target store in Fishers shopping with them for gifts. In total, more $16,000 was spent and more than 50 police officers from Fishers, Sheridan, Arcadia, Cicero, State Police, Indiana DNR, and parole took place.
