Westfield city officials and project partners officially broke ground Tuesday, Dec. 9 on Grand on Main, a $105 million mixed-use development that will bring luxury living, high-end retail, and modern amenities to the heart of downtown.
Mayor Scott Willis marked the groundbreaking as a major milestone for the city.
“Grand on Main sets the tone for the future of our downtown,” Mayor Willis said. “It brings the kind of energy, density, and walkability that will continue transforming Westfield into a vibrant and connected community.”
Grand on Main includes 216 upscale multifamily residences, more than 60,000 square feet of retail and office space, three rooftop amenity plazas, work-from-home suites, a golf simulator, cold plunge and sauna, a resort-style pool, and public art installations that strengthen the connection to Grand Junction Plaza and the surrounding cultural district.
The project is being developed by BW Development, and built in collaboration with BW Construction and Skender. The development is made possible through a public–private partnership with the city, including TIF support for a new 575-space parking garage.

Build BW emphasized the impact of their integrated development and construction model.
“We’re proud to break ground on a project that reflects where Westfield is headed,” BW Development President Brad Battin said. “Grand on Main brings new momentum to the downtown core and shows what thoughtful development can do for a growing community.”
Skender shared its commitment to the project’s vision.
“Today marks more than a groundbreaking, it marks the continuation of a vision that Mayor Willis and I first outlined in 2023 when we committed to establishing our office in Westfield,” said Brian Simons, Skender President, Indiana. “We are deeply grateful to the City of Westfield, our incredible Skender team, and our dedicated partners BW Development and Studio M for bringing this vision to life. As a Westfield resident, I’m personally excited to be building a gateway into the new downtown Westfield and setting the foundation for a vibrant future.”
Grand on Main is expected to open late 2027.
