If you’ve been reading The Reporter’s sports section for the past few months, you’ve seen the name Quinn Matthews.
Quinn is a Noblesville High School senior and was our intern for the first semester of the school year. She helped me out with covering events, taking pictures and writing several feature stories.
Quinn proved herself to be a great writer and photographer, and I also need to mention her willingness to learn and adapt. One of the feature stories she wrote required a Zoom interview on short notice, but not only did Quinn get the interview, she knocked the story out of the park.
Quinn received an invitational to join the NHS newspaper, The Mill Stream, which means she must conclude her internship after this semester. We’re very grateful for the time we got to have with Quinn over the past four months, and we know she will do great things in journalism, at The Mill Stream, college and in the working world.
