On Saturday, Dec. 13, the Indy Fuel game at Fishers Event Center was also a night for giving. The “Teddy Bear Toss” was an opportunity for fans to throw teddy bears on the ice, all of which we donated to local charities and children in need.
The event was presented by Coca-Cola and the U.S. Army. Coca-Cola Consolidated Community Relations Manager Mandi Snyder told The Reporter her company donated 825 bears to be tossed. This event was part of Coca-Cola Consolidated’s Community efforts and Purpose, in partnership with The Fuel to support local communities.
Teammates and their family members joined other volunteers on the ice to scoop up the bears and make sure they eventually find homes with kids who need them most.
