At their annual Christmas Dinner and Program Night held Thursday night, Dec. 4 at the Westfield Lions Clubhouse, 1001 E. 169th St., several well-deserving Lions received awards. Prior to the awards portion of the meeting, the Lions were served dinner by the Westfield High School Foodies and entertained by the WHS Signature Sound Choir.
The Foodies credited the Westfield Lions for their growing success. The first event they catered was a Christmas dinner for the Lions, and they have been back ever since. In the intervening years, they’ve catered numerous events, gained enough recognitions to get their own professional kitchen and compete at a national level, all thanks in large part to the work Westfield Lions have done to spread the word about their exceptional culinary skills.
The Westfield Lions are proud to serve their community and are actively looking for people interested in joining them in making a difference in Westfield. For information on the Club and how to become a Lion, go to WestfieldLions.org.
