The Sheridan girls wrestling team dominated the Christel House Invitational in Indianapolis on Saturday, Dec. 6, scoring 176 points with champs in five out of the 14 weigh classes.
Aubrey Koch at 115, Devyn Pewarski at 135, Eva Todd at 140, AJ Hamersley at 145 and Emmily Jacobo-Silva at 170 all took home individual titles, beating wrestlers from Pike, Perry Meridian, Shelbyville, Lapel and Christel House. Hamersley had the win of the day, avenging a 2024 loss by pinning Coreyona Edwards from Pike who is ranked No. 13 in the state.
Also earning spots on the podium were Maddie Underwood as runner-up at 155, Ellie Eaton as third at 130 and Khloe Goebel securing her first two career pins on her way to fourth.
Gracie Stowers and Ryleigh Hampton added team points to the total with wins over Perry Meridian and Cowan.
The girls will be back in action this Saturday at Indian Creek High School.
