Sheridan High School junior Jada Trietsch has earned a remarkable honor this season. She was selected for the Varsity Cheer All-American Team, a distinction reserved for standout athletes who demonstrate exceptional skill, leadership, and spirit.
As part of the All-American experience, Trietsch traveled to Philadelphia, Pa., where she joined cheerleaders from across the nation to perform in the legendary Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade, one of the oldest parades in the country. The week was packed with rehearsals, sightseeing, and unforgettable memories.
One of the highlights of the trip came when Trietsch and her fellow All-Americans were selected to be in the background on Good Morning America, giving the athletes a moment in the national spotlight.
Reflecting on her time away from home, Trietsch said, “Having the opportunity to perform in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving parade was an experience I’ll never forget. I’m so grateful for the chance to meet girls from around the country and work with an amazing team of staff. I made some new friends, saw new sites, and made memories for a lifetime!”
This opportunity strengthened her passion for cheer and deepened her appreciation for her teammates and coaches.
For Sheridan High School, Trietsch’s achievement is a point of pride, showcasing the dedication and excellence of its cheer program.
