Hamilton Southeastern won two games this past weekend at Evansville North before falling Tuesday at Pendleton Heights.
The Royals began their weekend sweep with a 66-47 win over Evansville Central on Friday, Dec. 5, then toughed out a victory over Greensburg on Saturday, Dec. 6. Kayla Stidham scored 20 points for HSE over Central, one of four double-digit scorers for the Royals. Kennedy Holman poured in 21 points in the Royals’ win over the Greensburg Pirates.
Southeastern lost to the Arabians 49-44. The Royals led 14-12 after one quarter, then Pendleton came back to lead 24-22 at halftime and 38-30 after three periods.
Stidham scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, while Antonette Green scored 10 points.
Southeastern is 8-2 and hosts Avon Friday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
